Inspired by the deep, rich tones of garnet, Loretto’s Loft is a warm and inviting retreat that honours the building’s remarkable history. Named after the Queen Anne-style structure built in 1895 at 309 Belleville Street (once known as Loretto Hall) it pays tribute to its past as a boarding house for young women welcomed to Victoria by the Sisters of Notre Dame des Anges and, at one time, the Sisters of St. Ann.
Once a place of arrival and belonging, the loft now offers a peaceful escape featuring a cozy queen bed and thoughtfully curated décor that blends historic charm with modern comfort. Beautifully updated with contemporary amenities, Loretto’s Loft combines heritage elegance with a serene, welcoming atmosphere for an unforgettable stay.
As part of our historic heritage property, the mansion does not have elevators, and access to the suite is by staircase only.
